Maroon 5 (マルーン・ファイブ)は、1997年にカリフォルニア州ロサンゼルス出身の5人で結成されたバンド。残念ながら、結成当時のメンバー、ライアン・デューシック (Ryan Dusick)（ドラム担当）は肩の怪我が悪化したため、脱退した。

世界で大受けした、デビューアルバム『Songs about Jane』（2002）は、ゴールド、プラチナム、トリプルプラチナムを達成。2005年には、第47回グラミー賞で最優秀新人賞を受賞し、さらに2006年第48回グラミー賞では、ライブアルバムの『Live – Friday The 13th』が、ベスト・パフォーマンス・グループ賞を受賞。めざましい活躍をしているグループです。

この「This Love」ですが、なんと2枚目のシングルなんですね。その2枚目のシングルである「This Love」は、シングルチャートで、アメリカ、オーストラリアでベスト10入りし、イギリスとオランダではベスト3入りを見せた曲なのです。

ビデオに出てくるきれいな女性は、ボーカルであるアダム・レヴィーンの当時の彼女であった、モデルのKelly McKee（ケリー・マキー）です。
